Mark Hall Wins Junior World Championships!

Mark Hall Wins 2017 Junior World Championships!

Current Penn State wrestler Mark Hall who competed under the NLWC banner when he won the U.S. Junior National Championships and the U.S. Junior World Team Trials won his second consecutive Junior World Championship today.   

Competing in Tampere, Finland at 74 kg/163 lbs., Mark won five straight matches to earn the World Title.  Mark won his first four matches with a 10-0 technical fall over Adlan Bataiev (Ukraine), a 6-2 win over Radik Valiev (Russia), a 10-0 technical fall over Mohammad Mottaghinia (Iran), and a 10-3 decision over Muhammet Kucukyildirim (Turkey).  And in the finals, Mark scored a fall in 0:42 over Isa Shapiev of Uzbekistan.
