2026 Nittany Lion Wrestling Club Golf Classic Sponsorship

The NLWC invites you to participate as a sponsor for the NLWC Golf Tournament at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026 at the Penn State Golf Courses in State College, PA.  The tournament will be a 4-person scramble with play taking place on both the Blue and White Golf Courses.  This tournament has been one of the Club’s primary fundraising events for the past 32 years, and we greatly appreciate your continued support.  

Along with the golf, there is great food, contest prizes, team prizes for 1^st, 2^nd, & 3^rd place teams (blind flights established based on the number of teams entered) on both the Blue and White Courses, silent auction items, NLWC Clothing for sale, and the opportunity to spend a fun day with NLWC wrestlers, coaches, friends, and other wrestling fans.    

As a Tournament Sponsor, you will enjoy many benefits, including complimentary golfer registration(s) based on the level of sponsorship you choose.  As a complimentary golfer(s), you will play in a 4-person scramble where each player must contribute 2 drives (par 3 holes excluded).  Golfers who are 65 or older may play from the gold tees, and women may play from the red tees.  

If you wish to add golfers to your team in addition to those which are complimentary, the tournament registration fee is $275/golfer.  The fee includes:  cart, greens fees, continental breakfast, snack, dinner at the golf course following play, shirt, and the opportunity to win plenty of great contest, team, and door prizes!   

Mulligans will be available for purchase on the day of the tournament.  The maximum number of mulligans for each player is 4, maximum of 1 mulligan per player per hole, and no skill or hole-in-one prizes can be won with a mulligan.

The Club’s Olympic RTC practice on Thursday (Aug. 27) afternoon will be open to golfers and sponsors.  The exact practice times will be emailed later in the summer.

However, tax law requires us to estimate the value of goods or services that have been rendered to you in return for your contribution, and to remind you that your contribution is deductible only to the extent that it exceeds what we have provided. The Nittany Lion Wrestling Club is a tax-exempt, charitable, educational organization [IRS code Sec 501 (c)(3)]. The NLWC Tax I.D. # is 251408517.

After you complete your on-line sponsorship, we will follow-up to give you the estimate for the taxable amount of your sponsorship donation. 

In addition, we will send you a detailed receipt and confirm your business name/logo for the listing of sponsors. 

Depending upon your sponsorship amount, you will also be entitled to a number of complimentary golfers. In such case, we will also contact you to obtain the names and shirt sizes of your golfers.
